Classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France, Gordes, located between Apt and Avignon, is one of the most popular destinations in Luberon. A perched village, dominated by its castle and church, it attracts the light which plays different tones depending on the time of day and the weather. Situated at an altitude of 400 m, on the hillside, it faces the Luberon massif. Surrounded by dry stone houses, typical of the Pays d'Apt, it offers an exceptional charm that has attracted and still attracts celebrities and artists.

You will discover along the caladées (Provencal word for stone-paved streets), vaults, superb porches, old doors, fountains, houses with flat stone walls skilfully restored, subtle and finely worked architectural details, grandiose panoramas over the valley and the Luberon mountains.
To see and to visit : the medieval and Renaissance castle which houses the Pol Mara museum, the church of Saint-Firmin, the glass and stained glass museum, the village of Les Bories nestled on the slopes of the Monts de Vaucluse (classified as a historic monument, it has about twenty dry stone huts), the Moulin des Bouillons museum, located on a Gallo-Roman site, with its olive presses from the 1st to the 16th century, the Cistercian Abbey of Notre-Dame de Sénanque, a 5 minute drive away.
